The Torhout Local Authority is distributing 200 free forget-me-not plants for residents to gift to someone in need of extra warmth. Applications are open until November 1st, with pickup on Saturday, November 14th at the town hall.

Anyone who knows someone deserving of an extra pick-me-up can request a free forget-me-not by November 1st via welzijn@torhout.be. The Torhout Local Authority is making 200 plants available. These plants can be collected on Saturday, November 14th, between 9 AM and 12 PM at the town hall, Aartrijkestraat 11/b.
This initiative, a collaboration between the Torhout Local Authority, Gezondheidsmakers, and VLTI, aims to spread a small gesture with a warm message. Residents are encouraged to gift a plant to a neighbor, family member, acquaintance, or friend who could use some extra warmth. VLTI is responsible for growing the plants.
