The library of Duffel is organizing its annual second-hand book sale on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. As is tradition, the selection is large and the prices are low. The sale takes place in the Bruegelzaal at the library, on October 10 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM and on October 11 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The proceeds from the book sale will once again be divided among three charities this year. Mondiale Werken Regio Lier-Duffel is a volunteer organization that supports people in vulnerable positions through, among other things, housing assistance and a buddy program.
VZW Equra organizes guidance with horses and collaborates with Jeugdzorg Ter Elst to provide extra support to vulnerable young people.
Collectief Bipolair is an association of caregivers and researchers dedicated to improving care for people with bipolar disorder.
