Our farmers are busy with the harvest. As a result, there will be more tractors, harvesting machines, and other agricultural vehicles on our roads in the coming weeks. These vehicles are often large, wide, and travel slower than other traffic.
The Municipality of Moorslede therefore asks all road users for extra attention and patience. Keep sufficient distance, adjust your speed, and only overtake when it is completely safe and permitted.
Also, keep in mind that agricultural machinery often requires more space to enter or exit a field or to take a turn. Furthermore, be extra alert near cyclists, pedestrians, and intersections.
