Starting Monday, October 5, roadworks will take place on Hovaerestraat in Koekelare, with new asphalt planned for Friday, October 9.

On Monday, October 5, the existing asphalt layer of Hovaerestraat will be milled off. Subsequently, the stability of the foundation will be checked, and local repairs will be carried out where necessary. The new asphalt top layer is scheduled for Friday, October 9. The road will be usable again the day after completion. The schedule is dependent on weather conditions and the progress of the works.
The works are being carried out by the company Knockaert from Jabbeke. During the works, through traffic will not be possible in the affected section of the Hovaerestraat, and parking in the work zone is also prohibited. Residents must park their vehicles outside the work zone by Monday morning, October 5 at the latest.
Through traffic will be diverted via Stalpaertstraat and Atlasstraat.
