Good news for young adventurers in Halle: the 'Op Wieltjes' Playground is back in town. Currently, you can find the mobile play container next to the water playground on Nederhem. It will later appear in other locations within Halle.
Last year, an extra playground on wheels opened in Halle. The wooden container, equipped with a slide, tunnel, and abacus among other features, is designed to be easily set up in various locations.
After its opening last year, the mobile playground temporarily disappeared from view. The City of Halle wanted to conduct preventive extra checks following a spot inspection by the Federal Public Service Economy, which highlighted some concerns regarding fall protection and pinching hazards. In the meantime, additional precautionary measures have been taken, and a new safety inspection has been completed, ensuring children can play safely again.
