Caterer Scott De Schepper BV, active in hospitality, catering services, and event catering, takes over the concession after a public tender. The previous concession was terminated by mutual agreement on August 31, 2026. The new operator aims to make Bistro De Route an accessible meeting place with classic bistro cuisine, catering to the activities and events at the community center.
The bistro will cater to the diverse visitors of GC De Route, including athletes, associations, residents, theatergoers, and cyclists on the cycle highway. Private individuals, associations, and organizations can also use the facility for coffee mornings, receptions, group meals, and custom catering.
The new opening hours, effective from Wednesday, November 11, are as follows: Monday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Wednesday to Friday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. The bistro will be closed on Tuesdays. These hours may be adjusted to accommodate planned activities at GC De Route.
