The goal of a green facade is to integrate nature into the urban environment. This project aims to create extra space for plants, butterflies, bees, and birds, provide cooling on warm days, and contribute to a more climate-friendly living space. Furthermore, the facade will serve as a living learning spot where children and young people can discover nature through the seasons.
The public is encouraged to vote for this greening project via the website https://vertilab.be/wedstrijd-stem/. Voting closes on November 12. The initiative aims to make Aarschot greener together.
