During the Digital Week, residents of Maldegem can improve their digital skills. Workshops, information sessions, and personal guidance are offered. Digital helpers will be available at various locations to assist residents in navigating the digital world. Participation in digital challenges offers a chance to win a digital prize.
Several accessible digital workshops are organized on various digital topics. On Wednesday, October 7, a workshop on digital tools for home care & seniors will take place at LDC Oud St. Jozef from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. On Friday, October 9, at the Sociaal Huis, participants can learn to create a digital family comic strip from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The Maldegem Library offers a workshop on 'My digital legacy' on Tuesday, October 13 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and on Wednesday, October 14, a session on 'Itsme, My Citizen Profile & My eBox' (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM). A workshop on 'Working efficiently with the computer' on October 14 is fully booked. On Thursday, October 15, the Sociaal Huis will host the workshop 'Working with Copilot' (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM).

The digital points offer free assistance for digital questions without an appointment. These are located at WZC De Kleithoeve (Wednesday, October 7, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM), the Maldegem Library (Thursday, October 8, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM; Saturday, October 10, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM; Thursday, October 15, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM; Saturday, October 17, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM), LDC Oud St. Jozef (Friday, October 9 and 16, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM), and AZ Zeno, Campus Maldegem (Tuesday, October 13, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM). On Monday, October 12, digital helpers will also be available at the Monday market.
