Several musicians from Evergem have been selected as laureates for the 'Bandopname' trajectory, offering them professional support and culminating in a performance at music club N9.

The competition for musical talent from the Meetjesland region has yielded several winners from Evergem. They will further develop their careers with a professional video recording, a merchandise workshop, and a performance at music club N9.
This trajectory aims to give emerging bands from the region the opportunity to gain experience and develop further. Several of the laureates have a connection to Evergem.
The dreamy duo Letterstomysofia, partly consisting of Samson (Rieme), represents some of the talent. Nimbus Cart features Janis Vancoppenolle, a frontwoman from Doornzele. Finally, there is BLISTERS, a garage rock band with roots in Aalter.
Each of the three winning acts will receive a video recording at Cultuurhuis Herbakker and attend a merchandise workshop at Jeugdhuis De Route. The trajectory concludes with a free showcase at muziekclub N9 on Saturday, November 28, 2026.
'Bandopname' is a collaborative initiative between Cultuurhuis Herbakker, Jeugdhuis De Route, muziekclub N9, and COMEET.
