The initiative, organized by Herenthout Municipality, specifically targets emerging artists with limited exhibition experience. Participants will receive workshops and guidance from curator Bert Vissers, aiming to help them learn new techniques, get feedback on their work, and network with fellow artists from the region.
To be eligible, candidates must meet several criteria. They must reside in Grobbendonk, Herentals, Herenthout, Olen, or Vorselaar. They must create visual art, present at least three recent works (no older than two years), and be at least 16 years old in 2027. Minors require parental consent. Active participation in all group sessions, workshops, and the final exhibition is mandatory.
Interested artists can apply by December 6, 2026, via Kunstwerkt. A professional jury will select the ten participants based on their motivation, the quality of their work, and their growth potential.
