Under the theme ‘Together we make tomorrow’, attendees had the opportunity to get to know each other better and hear inspiring stories. Several local Sterkhouders shared their experiences and commitment through photos, a video, and a live conversation. Their stories highlighted the diverse forms of engagement within Wingene and the importance of local involvement.
The reception served as a meeting point for people and organizations who don't always meet naturally. These new contacts and conversations were a significant part of the evening. Through the Toekomstboom (Future Tree), attendees could share their ideas and dreams for the future of Wingene. The municipality will compile these suggestions and explore how they can be followed up.
