An information market will be held in Westende-Bad on October 24 to present the plans for three spatial implementation plans (RUPs).

A spatial implementation plan (RUP) defines the building and development regulations for a specific area. Three RUPs are currently being drafted for Westende-Bad.
The public consultation period will soon begin, running from October 1 to November 29. For the RUP Rauschenbergplein, Middelkerke has appointed two environmental mediators from the University of Antwerp. They will engage in dialogue with stakeholders, residents, entrepreneurs, and action groups to listen to their concerns and seek solutions together.
Those seeking more detailed information can attend the information market at Calidris on October 24. Between 10 AM and 2 PM, project managers will explain the various RUPs.
