The opportunity to spotlight your favorite athlete, young talent, or team and ensure their achievements do not go unnoticed is here again. Seize the chance to nominate yourself or someone else for the 2026 Sport Trophies.
The categories include: the Sports Performance Trophy for an exceptional individual achievement, the Young Sports Talent Trophy for a junior (-16 years) with an exceptional sports performance, the Team of the Year Trophy for an outstanding team or club, and the Sports Ambassador Trophy for a person who inspires others to participate in sports through an exceptional sporting achievement.
To be eligible, candidates must have resided in Nieuwpoort for at least 1 year or be a member of a Nieuwpoort club affiliated with the sports council. Nominations must be submitted in writing to the daily board of the sports council: Sportsecretariaat, Dudenhofenlaan 2B, always including a clear motivation.
The final deadline for submitting nominations is Thursday, December 31, 2026.
