Residents of Kortrijk can now not only submit reports and complaints, but also send compliments to employees of the City of Kortrijk and VLAS Police Zone.
The city of Kortrijk and VLAS Police Zone have launched a new, accessible online compliment form. This allows residents to express their appreciation for employees, teams, or services that have helped them well or made a positive difference.
Every day, hundreds of city and police employees work towards a safe, clean, and pleasant city, often behind the scenes. While reports and complaints via the 1777 service point remain important, positive experiences are often shared less frequently. This new form offers residents the opportunity to give praise.

The initiative is also positively received by VLAS Police Zone. Chief of Police Filip Devriendt emphasizes that police work often involves challenging situations, but that employees make a difference for residents every day. He encourages satisfied citizens to share their positive experiences.
