The youth department of Knokke-Heist is organizing another group purchase for custom-made earplugs. Young people up to 30 years old will benefit from a special reduced rate to raise awareness about hearing protection during loud music.

With the end-of-year period approaching, the youth department of Knokke-Heist is launching a new group purchase for custom-molded earplugs. This initiative specifically targets individuals aged 18 to 30, who can access a favorable price due to an additional discount from the municipality. The program aims to increase awareness regarding the risks associated with prolonged exposure to loud music.
Custom-fit earplugs offer a comfortable way to enjoy events such as parties and festivals. Because they are precisely molded to the ear, they are barely noticeable. These earplugs effectively dampen harmful sounds while allowing important frequencies to pass through.
Young residents of Knokke-Heist aged 18 to 30 will pay only € 110 for this group purchase, a significant reduction from the standard price of € 165. Individuals over 30 can also register at a rate of € 125. Furthermore, an extra € 10 discount is available for those who can use 20 UiTPAS points.
Interested individuals can reserve a time slot for the measurement session on Saturday, October 24th, between 9 AM and 12 PM. Reservations can be made via the online sign-up link until Sunday, October 19th. On the day of the appointment, a free hearing test will also be offered with the purchase of earplugs.
The custom earplugs can then be collected on Saturday, December 5th, between 10 AM and 12 PM.
