From October 7 to 18, 2026, the Fair Municipality of Zoersel invites everyone to join the Sweet Revolution. Bake a dessert using at least one fair trade, one organic, and one local ingredient.

Everyone can participate in the Sweet Revolution, an initiative by the Fair Municipality of Zoersel running from October 7 to 18, 2026. Whether you bake alone or with children or grandchildren, the only condition is to use at least one fair trade, one organic, and one local ingredient. Participants can share their recipes via www.sweetrevolution.be for a chance to win a prize.
Participation doesn't have to be complicated; a simple dessert like cake, cookies, or pudding can make a difference. This initiative supports fair trade, promotes more conscious climate choices, and gives a boost to local producers.
On Saturday, October 17, Oxfam-Wereldwinkel Zoersel is holding an open day. Visitors can explore the offerings and receive extra information about the products and their stories. On the same day, a swap action will take place: bring any empty coffee packaging and exchange it for a free 250-gram pack of Women’s Hope coffee. This offer is valid while supplies last and limited to one pack per family.
Since June 1, 2026, eco-cheques can also be used for the purchase of fair trade products, including coffee, chocolate, bananas, and certified cotton clothing.
