From November 6th to 16th, Ieper City is organizing activities for the Digital Week, guiding citizens through online services and offering personal assistance.

During the Digital Week, running from November 6th to 16th, Ieper City is focusing on the evolution of the digital world. The city aims to inform its residents about the many tasks they can now easily handle online, such as making appointments, requesting documents, or submitting reports. If needed, the Digipunten are available to provide personal assistance.
“Can that be done online? During the Digital Week, we show what you can arrange digitally at Ieper City — and where you can get help if it doesn't go smoothly,” stated a city spokesperson. The digital world is changing rapidly, with more and more services available via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Ieper City emphasizes that many tasks can be handled online at the citizen's convenience.
During the Digital Week, four key services are highlighted: making an appointment for visits to city services, reporting an issue regarding public spaces, requesting documents via the digital counter, and seeking help at a Digipunt.
Many online government services require a digital key, such as itsme. Questions about this can also be addressed at a Digipunt. These points offer free personal assistance with digital queries, including filling out forms, logging into websites, installing apps, or recognizing phishing attempts.
During the Digital Week, Digipunten will be active at various locations in Ieper: on Friday, November 6th at De Wissel (Grachtstraat 15), on Monday, November 9th at Ter Plekke Dikkebus (OC Thicabusca, Dikkebusseweg 480) for residents of Dikkebus and Voormezele, on Tuesday, November 10th and Friday, November 13th again at De Wissel, on Wednesday, November 11th and Thursday, November 12th at the Ieper Library (Weverijstraat 9), on Friday, November 13th at Ter Plekke Boezinge (OC Ten Vrielande, Brugstraat 27), and on Monday, November 16th at De Kersecorf (Rijkeklarenstraat 83).
Assistance at the Digipunten is free and accessible to everyone, regardless of digital expertise. Ieper City combines digital services with personal support, ensuring no one is left behind. Citizens are encouraged to engage with online services independently or visit for assistance.
