Every year, Houthulst honors its local athletes and volunteers. This can be for a remarkable achievement, such as breaking a personal record or an exceptional team performance. Individuals who have been dedicated behind the scenes for years to a sports club or the sporting life in the municipality are also eligible.
Anyone can nominate themselves or someone else. This applies to recreational and competitive athletes, both individuals and complete teams, and from young to old.
Nominations can be submitted until October 30 via an online form. The ceremony to honor all sporting achievements and the dedication of athletes and volunteers will take place at the Sports Evening.
The Sports Evening will be held on Friday, November 20, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the Tennis Hall at the Leisure Campus.
