The 25th anniversary of Bos Ter Kerst has been festively concluded with the official opening of a renovated, accessible playground and the announcement of the winners of the 'The Forest is Having a Birthday' walking quiz.

The jubilee was celebrated throughout the year with numerous activities. The official celebration marked the festive culmination of this special anniversary year.
There was also reason to celebrate at the site of Hoeve Ter Kerst. The playground has been renovated and made fully accessible, with special attention to wheelchair users. Thanks to the new play equipment, everyone can play in a fun and inclusive way. The renewed playground is now freely accessible from the street and was officially opened in the presence of the college.
During the summer months, visitors could participate in the walking quiz ‘Het bos is jarig’ (The Forest is Having a Birthday). The story for the quiz was written by the Vlinderklas of Dominiek Savio and was met with great enthusiasm. No fewer than 80 participants registered and had a chance to win a prize. Ultimately, five winners were drawn and have since been personally notified.
Due to its great success, the walk will return. The route is currently being further developed and will take place at the site of Hoeve Ter Kerst. Groep Gidts is finalizing the plans and will soon distribute more information.
With these festive activities, a fantastic anniversary year is coming to a close. Thanks are extended to everyone who has contributed to Bos Ter Kerst over the past 25 years and to everyone who helped make this anniversary year a success.
