Until Tuesday, November 10, residents of Deerlijk can donate clean and usable toys. The municipality is looking for items such as puzzles, children's books, board games, and dolls. They are not collecting stuffed animals or clothing.
The collected toys can be dropped off at two locations: the church of Sint-Lodewijk and the Sint-Colombakerk in the center of Deerlijk. This initiative is part of the municipal project 'hallo buur(t)' and is a collaboration with pastoral unit De Wijngaard.
