From Monday, September 21, to Monday, September 28, parking is prohibited in C. Marichalstraat and on the gemeenteplein and in front of the gemeentehuis due to the fair. From Friday, September 25, at 4 PM until Sunday, September 27, at 11:59 PM, through traffic will be impossible in Bloemendalestraat near the gemeenteplein.
The evening market introduces additional parking bans in Bloemendalestraat, at the small square near the entrance of Male Hof, in Vaart-Noord between Louisabrug and Zuidleiestraat, and at the parking O.C. De Kleine Beer. On Friday, September 25, Bloemendalestraat and C. Marichalstraat will be closed to through traffic from 4 PM to Saturday, September 26, 1 AM. Vaart-Noord between Louisabrug and Voeders Depré will also be closed. Short-term parking is available on the parking strip in Parkstraat near bakery Chaudpain and in C. Marichalstraat on Friday, September 25.
The Stepkeskoers on Saturday, September 26, from 12 PM to 5:30 PM, will cause a parking and driving ban from the gemeenteplein to butcher shop Patrick.
On Sunday, September 27, the Berenloop will take place. The 5-kilometer course starts at O.C. De Kleine Beer and passes through streets such as C. Marichalstraat, Bloemendalestraat, Rollebaanstraat, Bargelaan, Kasteeldreef, Aardappelstraat, Warande, Vaart-Noord, Diksmuidse Boterweg, Bargepark, and Male Hof. The 10-kilometer route extends this from Kasteeldreef, including Mexicostraat, Audenaerdemolen, Bosstraat, and Veldstraat. Both courses will be traffic-free from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Parking is prohibited at the parking of O.C. De Kleine Beer, in Rollebaanstraat, Bargelaan, and a section of the police parking.
