On Friday, December 11, 2026, a Christmas party will be held for singles aged 65 and over at the Parochiehuis of Ternat, located at Kloosterweg 1. The festivities will commence at 12 PM.
The program includes a three-course meal, pleasant conversation, and live music from a local band starting at 4 PM, followed by dancing.
To participate, individuals must be single and at least 65 years old on December 11, 2026. Registration closes on November 6, 2026. Registration can be done online via www.ternat.be/kerstfeest2026 or by submitting a registration form at the Sociaal Huis (Kapelleveld 10) or the municipal hall (Gemeentehuisstraat 21).
After registration, participants will receive a confirmation of available spots. Only after this confirmation should the amount of € 20 per person be transferred to account number BE66 0910 0018 5743 for Lokaal Bestuur Ternat, with the reference 'Kerstfeest alleenstaanden 2026 – name participant(s)'. Registration is final upon payment. Those eligible for increased healthcare benefits will pay € 8 and must include a sticker from their health insurance fund.
Transportation assistance is also available. The organization will pick up participants and ensure they get home safely afterward.
