After moving evenings in Hekelgem and Essene, Teralfene now hosts this warm moment of remembrance, music, and connection. Amidst lights, stories, and music, memories are gently brought to life, creating space for comfort, hope, and encounter.
The program includes the musical repertoire of Concertband Teralfene, youth choir music from ÜkeHele, singing by sisters Louise, Lisa & Laura, and poetry by Rik Verhavert.
Since 2024, Affligem has been participating in REVEIL, an initiative that brings people together across Flanders on November 1st to reflect on loss, remembrance, and connection. Through music, words, and moments of stillness, visitors are invited to commemorate loved ones who are missed in their own way.
Following previous editions in Hekelgem and Essene, REVEIL concludes its tour of the three Affligem sub-municipalities in Teralfene this year. Everyone is warmly welcome to be part of this quiet yet powerful gathering.
