The Municipality of Machelen invites residents, visitors, and entrepreneurs to contribute to a new, future-oriented parking policy for cars and bicycles.

The Municipality of Machelen is developing a new parking policy and is seeking the experiences and needs of all road users. Previous surveys helped shape the current policy, but mobility has since changed. Therefore, the municipality is now examining how the policy can be further improved.
Through a short, anonymous questionnaire, the municipality aims to understand what is currently working well, where problems are encountered, and which improvements are considered important. Participants can submit their answers until December 20, 2026. A paper version of the questionnaire is also available at the town hall.
The survey results will be used to further develop the parking policy, with a focus on the needs of residents, visitors, traders, self-employed individuals, and businesses. The goal is to contribute to an accessible, safe, and liveable Machelen and Diegem. Key findings will be announced afterward, and new measures will be implemented in phases over the coming years.
