On October 6th, an information evening on addiction and mental well-being, aimed at individuals aged 16 and above, will be held at the Welzijnscampus in Groot-Bijgaarden.

During this information evening, addiction expert Paul Van Deun will delve into the origins of addictive behavior and its impact on both the individual and their environment. The session will address how individuals struggling with addiction and their loved ones can cope. Support from family, friends, and the wider community often plays a significant role on the path to recovery and resilience.
Following the presentation, a panel discussion will take place. Participants include Elena De Feyter from De Spiegel and Jochen Schrooten, an expert by experience at the VAD. There will also be an opportunity for questions from the audience.
The lecture, panel discussion, and information market are scheduled for October 6th at 7:30 PM at the Welzijnscampus, located at Bosstraat 84 in 1702 Groot-Bijgaarden.
Participation is free and pre-registration is not required. Everyone is welcome, from the age of 16.
