From November 1, 2026, an adjusted municipal administrative sanctions regulation (GAS) will come into effect within Police Zone Hageland. The changes, stemming from new federal legislation, concern public order, criminal provisions, and disruptive factualities.

The GAS regulation allows municipalities to address local nuisance and certain infringements in a clear and consistent manner. The amendments ensure the regulation remains current and legally correct.
Key changes include the addition of a new article 53bis regarding noise nuisance, which prohibits causing noise without reason or necessity that disturbs the peace of residents. Proof of this can be provided by any means.
Article 77, relating to special provisions from the penal code, has been completely replaced due to the entry into force of the new Penal Code. Furthermore, article 78bis, which dealt with charging electric vehicles, is being deleted and replaced by new provisions concerning disruptive factualities. This new article prohibits actions on public roads that are annoying, rude, or provocative to third parties, without causing physical injury.
Sanction provisions have also been adjusted. Article 80 has been modified, replacing specific maximum amounts with a reference to the legal maximum. Article 81 has been aligned with article 80, maintaining the age limit of 16 years for minors.
More information on the procedure and the full text of the regulation, including the municipal council's decision of October 15, 2026, is available on the municipality's website.
