Due to an increase in illegal dumping, often of household waste, in and around municipal bins, the municipality of Dilbeek is initiating a pilot project. The public waste bins along the Ninoofsesteenweg will be removed during October 2026.
Over the coming months, the impact of this measure will be closely monitored. The municipality will analyze how the quantity and type of waste at these locations evolve. Based on the results, certain bins may or may not be reinstated.
