Registration for the autumn 2026 sports and theme camps is now open. The municipality of Bertem offers two distinct camps: 'Balancing on 1 Leg' for the younger children and 'Under Construction' for creative builders.
The sports camp 'Balancing on 1 Leg' is aimed at children aged 3 to 6 years. Throughout the week, children will practice their balance with various fun obstacle courses, sack jumps, and stilts. The focus is on exploring different balance exercises, interspersed with sports and games. This camp runs from Monday, November 2nd to Friday, November 6th at GBS 't Zonneveld and the Bertem sports hall. Registration is open until the camps are full.
For children aged 6 to 12 years, there is the theme camp 'Under Construction'. Here, young builders can unleash their creativity by bricklaying, roofing, and installing windows in a miniature house. They will also build their own pinball machine to take home. This camp, also from Monday, November 2nd to Friday, November 6th at GBS 't Zonneveld and the Bertem Sports Hall, will be alternated with sports and games.
Both camps are organized in collaboration with Sporty vzw. During the lunch break, children can eat their packed lunches on-site. Supervision is available from 8 AM to 9 AM and from 4 PM to 5 PM.
Participation fees vary. For children domiciled in Bertem, the cost is 100 euros. Children not residing in Bertem will pay 115 euros. A discount of 10 euros applies from the second participant in the same family. Individuals with a social tariff and an Uitpas Druivenstreek pay 20 euros. The Uitpas can be purchased at the reception desk of the Bertem town hall.
Registration can be done online via www.bertem.be/vrijetijdswinkel. After creating a profile, participants can register and pay through the ‘activities’ tab. A confirmation email will always be sent. Refunds are only possible with a doctor's certificate.
