Gemeente Bekkevoort

The Municipality of Bekkevoort is paying extra attention to inclusion and accessibility on December 3, 2026, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an important occasion to reflect on the diversity and strength of people with disabilities. It is a day to raise awareness about the challenges and barriers they face daily, but above all to highlight their strengths. Everyone deserves equal opportunities and a place in the world, regardless of their disability.
At the municipal site in Bekkevoort, a special inclusion mailbox will be available from November 16, 2026, to December 4, 2026. Citizens with ideas, experiences, questions, or messages that can contribute to a municipality where everyone feels welcome can anonymously deposit them here.
This initiative is part of the broader focus on inclusion and accessibility that the municipality aims to promote. The special notes for the inclusion mailbox can be found in the November 2026 information bulletin or in the attachments.
