On Saturday, November 21st, the provincial domain De Ster in Sint-Niklaas will be transformed into an enchanting winter world for the ninth edition of Putteke Winter. Visitors can walk along a fairytale route filled with fire, light, and surprising encounters. Ticket sales for this event have now started.
The walking route is divided into various experience zones that immerse visitors in a world of fire, light, and animation. This year's attractions include a mysteriously lit flower park, a special visit to the sports hall, a dragon hidden in the water, and a fire path.
“"Putteke Winter has become a staple in the Waasland region. The event brings people together and allows visitors to experience the domain in a unique way. We look forward to welcoming thousands of visitors again this year. Furthermore, we are doing our best to make the route accessible for everyone."
During the winter spectacle, visitors can stop at various catering squares for hot chocolate, mulled wine, or a winter snack to warm up and enjoy the atmosphere.
Oost-Vlaanderen Province is committed to accessibility for everyone. Four forest wheelchairs are available free of charge to comfortably navigate the route. The catering areas feature wheelchair-accessible picnic tables. Additionally, 300 tickets will be made available at a reduced rate and distributed through partner organizations of Vrijuit.
Tickets purchased in advance until October 31st cost 9 euros. From November 1st, the price will be 11 euros. Children up to and including 3 years old can participate for free but must reserve. Tickets can be purchased via the domain's website or at the reception of De Ster (Lange Rekstraat 32, Sint-Niklaas).
