The municipality of Sint-Laureins is organizing a workshop to help parents teach their children how to manage money step by step. Participants will receive concrete tools and practical tips for addressing the topic at home. There will also be ample time for questions.
The session will cover various themes, including what financial education entails, when to give pocket money and the agreements surrounding it, how to save with your child, online banking with your child, and the decision of whether or not to pay for chores around the house.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, November 5th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ontmoetingscentrum, located at Leemweg 24 (behind the Huis van de Vrije Tijd).
Participation in the workshop is free. For practical reasons, attendees are asked to register via the online form or the Social Services department.
