Journalist Barbara Ceuleers will give a lecture in Sint-Laureins on Monday, December 14, about dementia risks, based on her book 'Forget Dementia'.

Journalist Barbara Ceuleers, together with prof. of neurology Sebastiaan Engelborghs, has written the book ‘Vergeet Dementie’. The book, which starts from a personal story about euthanasia after an Alzheimer's diagnosis, explores how the risk of dementia can be reduced. During the lecture, Ceuleers will guide the audience through 14 concrete ways to reduce this risk. It is a practical guide showing how small lifestyle changes can make a big difference.
The lecture, which informs, touches, and teaches a different perspective on dementia, will take place on Monday, December 14, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ontmoetingscentrum (Leemweg 24, Sint-Laureins). Admission is free. Registration in advance is possible via bibliotheek@sint-laureins.be or christa.coene@telenet.be.
This lecture is a collaboration between the library and the Gezinsbond of Sint-Laureins and Sint-Jan-in-Eremo.
