During the Week of the Mooimakers, the volunteers who help make the municipality a cleaner place are being highlighted. Currently, there are about 50 active Mooimakers dedicated to this cause.
This year, these volunteers have collectively gathered over 1000 bags of waste. The municipality of Tessenderlo-Ham emphasizes the importance of their contribution.
Anyone interested in becoming a Mooimaker can contact the Environment Department at 013 39 44 80 or milieu@ham.be. Participants will receive the necessary cleanup materials, and practical arrangements will be made. Additionally, they will receive a reward from Limburg.net in the form of Slimmesorteerpunten for their efforts.
