The first edition of the Stayen Great Half Marathon starts on November 15th at 10 AM at Stayen, with a 21.0975 kilometer course through Sint-Truiden and its surroundings, ending on the STVV pitch.

Participants in the Stayen Great Half Marathon will depart on November 15th at 10 AM from Stayen for a challenging half marathon of 21.0975 kilometers. Organizer Keep On Running is focusing on both athletic performance and the overall experience for this inaugural edition. With an extensive NIKE pacing team, four atmosphere points, and three well-stocked refreshment stations, runners will receive ample support along the way.
The course first leads runners through the center of Sint-Truiden, including a passage over the Grote Markt. It then heads towards Brustem and DronePort, where participants will run two kilometers on the runway. Via rural roads and the Panoramabassin, they will return to Stayen. The highlight will be the finish on the STVV pitch, directly on the halfway line.
Four atmosphere points along the course will provide extra encouragement. Additionally, there are three refreshment stations offering a range of items including water, sports drinks, 6D Ultragels, and candy.
The NIKE pacing team has been expanded with four extra pacers, offering guidance for a wide range of finishing times, from fast competitors to those aiming for a two-and-a-half-hour half marathon. Pacers are available for finish times from 1h15 to 2h30. Prize money is available for the fastest athletes.
The running weekend kicks off on Saturday, November 14th, with a shake-out run to loosen up before the race. NIKE will be present with test shoes that runners can try for free. Afterwards, participants can enjoy a pasta party. With 80% of available spots already taken, the first edition is heading towards a sold-out field. Registration is open via www.keeponrunning.be.
