Numerous creative and artistic talents from Pelt are working with brushes, pens, pencils, clay, ceramics, glass, wood, or other raw materials. They create unique works in their studios or even attics, straight from the heart.
All these works deserve to be shown to a wider audience. During the first two weekends of October – on October 3-4 and 10-11 – 40 Pelt artists will present themselves across about 15 different disciplines during the art event ‘Kunstprikkels’.
Niels Valkenborgh, alderman for culture, explains: ‘The repurposed church of Boseind inspired the artists to organize a varied exhibition there. Pelt into Art, a working group of local artists, is collaborating with the municipality to arrange the venue.’
Everyone is welcome on October 3-4 and October 10-11, from 1 PM to 5 PM in the Sint-Jozefkerk of Boseind (De Kentings 17). Admission is completely free. More information about the event can be found at www.gemeentepelt.be/kunstprikkels2026.
