The Velodroom and the area around the Terlaemen Open-air Swimming Pool transformed into one large sports ground for two days. Pupils could freely discover and try out different sports.
With the sports fair, the municipality aims to let children experience how fun movement can be and to give them a low-threshold taste of various sports.
“"Not every child immediately knows which sport suits them. That's why it's so valuable that they can discover, try, and especially have fun here. Who knows, during this sports fair, they might find a sport they want to continue practicing afterwards."
