On Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, the ZOL hospital is once again supporting Levensloop Genk. This special 24-hour event invites participants to walk or run to support people with cancer and their loved ones, and to raise money for Kom op tegen Kanker. The hospital is participating with no less than 6 ZOL teams.
Anyone wishing to participate or support can join one of the ZOL teams. The general ‘ZOL-team’ is open to individuals or small groups.
Participating teams include: ZOL Pharmacy (captain Michele Van de Heuvel), K45 Oncology-Hematology (captain Lotte Pinxten), De Mollen van het ZOL (captain Evelien Egyed), ZOL Palliative Care Unit (captains Linda Pollaris and Liesbet Knuts), ZOL K40 (captain Bianca Wijnants), and the general ZOL team (captain An Beernaert).
The ZOL tent will serve as the central meeting point for all ZOL staff during the event. Visitors are welcome to stop by.
