The Neighborhood Information Network (BIN) in Vosselaar unites residents, the municipality, and the police to enhance safety.

A Neighborhood Information Network (BIN) is a structured collaboration between residents, the municipality, and the police. They keep each other informed about neighborhood events. This information exchange fosters greater social control and increases the sense of security. The local police lead the BIN, organizing and evaluating its operations.
Vosselaar now has a single, general BIN network: BIN-Vosselaar. Consequently, BIN signs in various districts will be removed in October 2026.
Residents can join BIN Vosselaar free of charge. Registration is available at www.vosselaar.be/bin, where you can also unsubscribe.
How does a BIN work? If you notice something unusual, like a suspicious vehicle or person, immediately call the police at 101. The police will recognize your call originates from a BIN municipality, investigate the situation, and may dispatch a patrol and/or send a BIN alert to all members. You will then receive an automated phone message.
