The Kempens Diamond Centre in Nijlen will now open its doors free of charge to the public every second Sunday of the month, with a guide present.

The Kempens Diamond Centre, a facility highlighting the region's diamond past, will now also be accessible to the general public one Sunday per month. Each month, visitors can come for an educational afternoon on the second Sunday. A guide or former diamond cutter will be present to provide explanations and answer questions.
The first open Sunday will take place on Sunday, October 11th. From 11 AM to 3 PM, everyone is welcome to freely visit and listen at the centre, located at Spoorweglei number 42 in Nijlen.
In the following months, open Sundays are scheduled for November 8th and December 13th. From 2027 onwards, this will continue on the second Sunday of each month. A guide or former diamond cutter will always be present to demonstrate how it works and answer all visitor questions.
