The Flemish Government is encouraging lower-earning employees and motivating the unemployed to seek work with a new job bonus. Eligible individuals will receive a letter between November 2026 and February 2027.

With this bonus, the Flemish Government aims to further incentivize people earning less to remain employed and encourage the unemployed to look for work. The job bonus is available for employees who in 2025 earned less than 3,115 euros gross per month (for full-time work). If you work part-time, your salary will be converted as if you were working full-time.
On top of the job bonus amount, all eligible individuals will receive an additional 50 euros. The minimum job bonus amount is therefore 60 euros, and the maximum amount is 700 euros.
If you are eligible for a job bonus, you will receive a letter about it between early November 2026 and late February 2027 from the Flemish authorities. Subsequently, enter your bank account number on www.burgerprofiel.be/jobbonus. You will need to log in with a digital key, such as itsme.
For additional questions regarding the job bonus, you can visit the job bonus website or call the free number 0800-61106 (on weekdays between 9 AM and 7 PM). Do you need help logging in, creating a digital key, or entering your bank account number digitally? You can visit one of the digipunten in Malle for assistance.
