Municipality of Essen seeks associations for New Year's reception

For the practical organization of the event, the municipality is looking for Essense associations willing to help. As a partner of the municipality, participating associations will receive a fixed fee of 350 euros.

Associations are sought for various tasks, including serving at the indoor and outdoor bars, serving jenever and mulled wine, distributing free soup and hot chocolate, and coordinating reusable catering materials. Beverage sales will be handled by the tent's concessionaire, while the associations will manage the bar service.

Every Essense association can apply. If more associations register than there are available positions, a rotation system will be used to give different associations the opportunity to participate and receive a fee in the coming years.

Interested associations can apply by Monday, October 26, at the latest, by sending an email to evenementen@essen.be, specifying the task or tasks their association is interested in.
