Today, October 15th, we mark the Day Against Cancer. This day is dedicated to drawing extra attention to everyone affected by cancer. This includes not only patients themselves but also their family, friends, colleagues, and all those who support them.
Cancer impacts not only the person who is ill but also those around them. The Day Against Cancer serves as a moment to reflect on the disease's effects and to express our solidarity.
A small gesture can make a big difference. A listening ear, a warm message, or simply being there for someone can mean a great deal.
As the Local Administration of Aartselaar, we wish to offer encouragement today to everyone confronted by cancer.
