From October 27 to November 8, 2026, the FTI Festival will transform Kortrijk into a hub of technology and innovation, featuring over 100 free activities for all ages.

For 30 days, visitors in eight Flemish cities can explore technology and innovation through more than 100 events. Kortrijk also offers a rich program, with Howest playing a significant role.
The central hotspot is the former hospital on the Reepkaai, which will be transformed into an interactive technology experience. Howest will showcase self-developed games, exergames, digital health screening tools, nostalgic games, and the latest projections from the SAIAR Lab, including a behind-the-scenes look.
Additionally, there will be themed days focusing on STEM & Robotics and Health & Tech, e-sport tournaments, Minecraft challenges, and a science bar with interesting speakers.
Schools can visit the expo, and the full program is available on the official FTI Kortrijk website.
The festival takes place in the city center of Kortrijk, with the former hospital along the Reepkaai as the main location. In the evenings, Hangar K, the Reepkaai, and the Belfort will come alive with impressive projections. Related events include WONDER Festival and UNWRAP 2026 - The future of Digital Entertainment, plus an Industry Day powered by Hangar K.
Mark your calendars for October 27 to November 8, 2026, when FTI Kortrijk opens its doors. All activities are free and accessible to all ages.
