Rising energy prices make it more urgent than ever for many families to make their homes more energy-efficient. Fortunately, you can count on the Mijn VerbouwLening from the Flemish government for this. The loan is further reinforced within the energy measures announced by the Flemish Government on May 5th, in the context of increased energy prices due to the war in Iran.
Mijn VerbouwLening is an affordable loan for energy-saving renovations, such as insulation, high-efficiency glazing, sustainable heating systems, or renewable energy. You can borrow a minimum of 4,000 and a maximum of 60,000 euros, spread over a maximum of 25 years. Since January 1, 2026, the interest rate you pay depends on your income; it can be 0%, 0.5%, or 1.5%. There are no file costs.
Individuals in the highest income category are not eligible to apply for this loan. More information is available via www.duurzaamwonen.be/mijnverbouwlening, where you can select your municipality.
