With the safety of students as a priority, PISO Tienen has once again outlined the key traffic regulations for electric scooters. The police have observed that not all rules are being followed, which can lead to serious accidents with severe injuries annually.
The school emphasizes the following rules: only one person per scooter is allowed, as riding with two people is dangerous and prohibited. As of this month, wearing a helmet is mandatory for speeds exceeding 20 km/h. Furthermore, there is a minimum age of 16 years for using e-scooters.
