During this period, the road will be milled, asphalted, and new road markings will be applied. Cyclists heading to Liedekerke station must follow the indicated alternative cycle route, as the F209 and the junction at the Bosbaan will be inaccessible.
The works begin on Tuesday, September 29 with the placement of kerbstones at the junction near the Bosbaan. On Wednesday, September 30, the cycle path and junction will be milled, and from 2 PM, a tack coat will be applied, after which the road must not be entered.
On Thursday, October 1, the new asphalt layer will be applied. On Friday, October 2, the road markings will be applied, which then need to cure for 24 hours. The schedule may change due to unfavorable weather conditions.
There will also be disruption for car traffic. From Wednesday, September 30 at 2 PM until Saturday, October 3, the Bosbaan will be inaccessible by car. Residents can temporarily park their cars in the Hopstraat in Ternat. Visitors are asked to follow the on-site signage and respect the construction zone to ensure the works proceed safely and smoothly.
