The center of Sint-Pieters-Leeuw will be dedicated to the annual fair on Tuesday, November 11th. With around 250 market stalls, an animal competition, art exhibition, music performances, and free shuttle services, there will be plenty to experience for young and old throughout the day.
The activity zone will be closed from 6 AM for market setup, and a parking ban will be in effect throughout the zone from midnight. From 8 AM, visitors can enjoy a wide selection of market stalls.
A crowd-pleaser remains the 84th edition of Leeuw Art at the Colomakasteel. Art enthusiasts can admire works by local artists on the ground floor. The fair will be enlivened all day by music and dance performances. The Almost Swinging Jazz Band will create a festive atmosphere, while various Leeuwse associations showcase their talents on stage.
The stage program begins at 10 AM with the official opening by the college of mayor and aldermen. This will be followed by performances from Showkoor Remember (10:15 AM), L&A Dance Company (12:15 PM), Dance O Mania (1:00 PM), and Tahtanka (2:00 PM).
To ensure accessibility, the main roads will remain open for car traffic, public transport, and shuttle services. Visitors from Vlezenbeek can use free shuttle services between the center of Vlezenbeek and the fair from 9 AM to 5 PM. There is also a free shuttle from Ruisbroek between the train station square and the Pauwke intersection. An alternative for the Makro – Sint-Pieters-Leeuw shuttle is currently being developed.
Parking is available along Galgstraat (between Europalaan and Lotstraat) and Victor Nonnemanstraat (between Hoogstraat and the town hall roundabout) from 6 AM to 10 PM, on the side with odd house numbers.
