The municipality of Bertem offers its residents the opportunity to reclaim swimming expenses incurred in the third quarter (July, August, and September). As Bertem does not have its own swimming pool, the difference between the non-resident and resident tariffs is compensated. This arrangement applies to all tariff formulas at Sportoase Leuven and Sportoase Wilsele, including single tickets, multi-visit cards, and subscriptions.
Those not yet utilizing this scheme but who swim regularly can join at any time. Simply keep your receipts, multi-visit cards, or subscription purchase proof and submit your application during the designated submission month.
To request reimbursement, proof of payment from July to September must be collected. Subsequently, the online application form, 'Zwemmen in Sportoase' (Swimming in Sportoase), can be completed on the municipality's website during October. A paper form is also available at the town hall reception.
Upon submission, payment will be processed automatically within 30 calendar days, provided the application meets the regulatory conditions. For the fourth quarter (October - December 2026), swimming expenses can be claimed throughout the entire month of January.
