Bertem invites all interested individuals to a free author reading with Bart Moeyaert on Sunday, November 22nd. The event will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the brasserie of WZC Sint-Bernardus, located at Egenhovenstraat 22 in Bertem.
The reading, which is part of the Reading Week with the theme ‘Reading aloud fosters reading’ (November 21-29, 2026), promises to be more than a classic lecture. Bart Moeyaert will share personal stories from his own memories and reflect on his most famous titles, offering insight into his life and writing from 1939 to the present.
This activity is a collaboration between the WZC Sint-Bernardus, the Local Service Center, the library, and the Leisure Department. The reading is free and open to residents of the WZC and their families, as well as all other interested parties.
