The cash-on-delivery tax regulation for the collection and processing of household waste and similar business waste for the assessment years 2027-2031 has been approved at the request of EcoWerf. This regulation applies to door-to-door collection, collection via sorting streets, collection on demand, and collection at the recycling park. From 2027, EcoWerf will also be responsible for textile collection in Bekkevoort.
The entry into force of the new Penal Code on September 1, 2026, has consequences for a number of mixed offenses and criminal references included in the uniform GAS regulation of Politiezone Hageland. The municipal council approved the amended uniform GAS regulation Politiezone Hageland. This regulation will take effect on November 1, 2026.
Furthermore, the municipal council approved a cooperation agreement between housing company KANVAZ and the local government regarding the realization of the Binding Social Objective (BSO) 2026-2042. This agreement ensures that the local government will meet the required social housing supply in Bekkevoort.
